In the United States, the Budd Company produced a few similar vehicles, using the Michelin technology, including one each for Michelein in France, the Pennsylvania Railroad, the Reading Company and the Texas & Pacific. Each railroad's equipment had unique bodies, and all were of Budd stainless steel construction, but beyond the builder's photos, which show a pair of single cars and two, two-unit trains, I've never seen any photographic documentation of such cars in actual service.
