Both of those guys have 35mm cameras around their necks, and they're running to get a shot before the train departs. They had plenty of time: Monon numbers 5 and 6 would run another four months before discontinuance.

The "fans" will. no doubt, have enough time to get their shot as, in all probability, the Conductor will hold the train for that older couple with the big suitcase. He won't be happy with our photographers, though unless they are actually getting off in Mitchell. LOVE those high-nose C-420s even if they are being run "backwards."

I always thought the Monon colors of 'Copper' and Black were an interesting choice for a railroad. Ah, if only we had this quality of passenger service today! Tell me, is the guy in the black suit being chased by the guy in the white pants, red shirt and light jacket behind him? What, the guy in the black suit owe some money? He does look a little panicked!

Hey, wait, that's Drew Carey!

Keep 'em coming Hawk! I'm really digging all of this classic Monon material.

Wow! Great shot.

Black and Gold...inspired by the colors of Purdue University. The Purdue Boilermakers...now you know the story.
