Great shot, it is so hard to get railroad shots in this kind of setting. Your timing was perfect.

Excellent use of light in this shot. Thank you for sharing.

Holy moly what a photo this is. Absolutely stunning. The ever impressing power of steam locomotives just cannot be denied. There just isn't enough that can be said about your photo, Robin. PCA vote for sure.

Nice shot. The lighting on this pic is amazing.

Still amazed this only has 1200 views. This is an amazing photo. Spectacular. I have a soft spot for British steam. Love it. It's a shame more LNER weren't saved from scrap.

By the way Robin, when do you plan on publishing your first book of photos? Seriously, your work is amazing.

Beautiful image. Despite being only mildly interested in the UK scene, I second the book request as I absolutely love your pictures.

Awesome shot Robin, when I saw the thumbnail I thought it had been taken in South Africa, what with the red colour of the coaches and the beautiful light....

Nice shot, even though it is an English locomotive. Glad to see the shot was not rejected for being backlit. Challenging conditions to nail the exposure and you did.

There are very few photographers who think this way about light, Robin, and you obviously are one of them. Fantastic. I have always loved these "light alleys" in the low light hours of the day and always try to use them when I can. Loving it! Thanks!
