Class 66s used to be made in London Ontario before Caterpillar shut the plant down and moved production to the States.

It was 30 years that I booked the ocean transport for the first 4 Class 59 units that EMD sold to Foster Yeoman. They were the predecessors to the Class 66's that run all over the UK and Europe.

"Tiny" and shaped like a European tunnel. Look at that flat car -- four wheels -- I assume it's a transition car for coupling.

It would appear that this order for GBRF will be the last Class 66's to be built.

I tell you, British Diesels keep getting uglier and uglier. No offense. These are the last of the decent looking ones. Nothing like the Class 37s which I thought looked very nice, or the Deltics.
