Nice shot. Off to the races, almost looks staged.

I had to do a double take when I saw the thumbnail - I thought it was a "mirror reflection in water" of the UP locomotives until I realized the "reflection" was BNSF orange and not upside down. Nice capture Frank. You lucked out on the perfect timing of those trains showing up at that exact moment. You got VERY lucky with this one. Congratulations.

That's awesome!

Very cool photo. PCA? Yup!
Great shot, Frank. What is more amazing is that all three units on both trains are in matching paint schemes and even 'relatively' clean. What are the odds?!
WOW!! That is as cool as it gets!! It would expect to see that on a model railroad, but not competing main lines!! PCA nominated.
Beautiful shot. A shot of railroading over Cajon Pass doesn't get any better than this.
You were very lucky on a lot of levels on this one. I like it alot.
Wow! Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Competition between the two West Coast Class 1 rivals!
Timing is everything. Nice capture

Frank, Absolutely amazing. The only thing that could be better is if all the locomotives we from the same builder. Other than that - PERFECTION! Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us.

This picture is stunning not only because of the scenery and parallel running, it also shows the ratio of EMD locos on America's railways. Look: 6 locomotives and 2 of them are EMD's products. Just like the real ratio of EMDs on the market which is 1/3.
