Beautiful photograph, but given Chile's location on "the ring of fire" I hope that an earthquake-made tsunami never swamps that track (especially if there are people working the rails then).

This photo in Chile certainly is a huge contrast to the high-desert photos you share with us. This is just as beautiful as they are. Great job.

Thanks you very much to all. Precisely this area is very closest to the epicenter of the earthquake 8,8 in February 2010. Fortunately did not suffer much damage by the tsunami due to the orientation of the bay and the Gulf of Arauco. Suffered significantly more damage the railway branches nearby to Concepción and Talcahuano, and the long and old railway bridge over the river Bio-Bio. Greetings from southern Chile :)

If anything would make one want to see Chile by rail, this idyllic photo certainly would.
