This picture deserves more than a thousand words. I ran upon it on January 31, 2010 and I am puzzled by the lack of comment. Those railroad men and the big power behind them will be gone, and the track surrounding them torn up way before the end of the 20th century. One wonders what they are about now. This is a beautiful memory of a great fallen flag.

As a 30 yr Milw Conductor(ret 06) I can testify to what this all meant, I worked in a different location, the time of "extermination"came later, but the result was the same.A good Road, with great financial possibilities but management had a different agenda.Makes one sad,makes one"sick".
