That "old track" was a money maker years ago. That farm produced enough grain to have it's own siding for loading. Travelling throughout the grain belt of America, you can still see storage silos along the tracks. If the railroad could profit from hauling your grain or livestock, your farm had a siding. Same as any coal mine or manufacturing facility. It's sad to see that siding has been replaced by a road.
