OK, I'll swallow hard and ask: how many of these rails are left, if any? (I'd think some, given Toledo's strategic location.)

Kurt, I haven't been to this spot in quite some time, but Google Maps shows the following: The former C&O line on the left is still in place, and would today be operated by CSX between Toledo and Plymouth (outside Detroit). The Ann Arbor line is now single track, operated by the modern day Watco owned Ann Arbor. Both tracks of the former Conrail line are still in place and would be operated by NS connecting Toledo and Detroit. One of the two connecting tracks on the right is still in place. The tower is gone.

Rod, great photo & thanks to all for the background. I hadn't realized Google maps could determine all of said information. Thanks guys, for sharing.
