Great shots of the branch, Brad. Glad, and a bit surprised, to see it still in operation after all the textile business left Thomaston. Never saw a train in T'ton, but drove around the loop in the 1980s. Any evidence remain of the Jct? Is service tri-weekly, as-needed or???

I stumbled onto this train and didn't chase it to Thomason. It looks like the only industry is a forest products manufacturer in town. I believe the local was Sunday-Thursday but I have no idea how often it heads down to Thomason. I'm just glad I got something with NS power, I suspect it will be sold to a shortline.
