Standard gauge American type locomotives are quite rare. Let alone operating. This is a real treasure to behold.

I love shots like this where the track / right-of-way looks like a forest path, especially for old / historic trains. (Yes, I realize they're not as good for full-time modern railroading.)

Excellent! Not an easy line to photograph, even more so in the Fall but you've nailed it. Great colors and surprisingly great light making it throught this heavily forested line. Nice processing, too - I can only imagine what it looked like in the camera yet you've done a great job keeping it looking like it must have looked to the eyes. Congrats on the PC!
