THANKS GREG ! I was hoping someone would show a more overall photo of what, at least to me, is a MOST FASCINATING structure. If only there was some rational reason ( and the funds ) to restore it to use.

JUST found out about MTA/Metro North's plan to restore commuter service to 4 locations on the Hell Gate Line into Penn Station. These trains would, like Amtrak, pass directly under this station. It appears plans are to rehab the nearby ORIGINAL Hunt's Point New Haven Station, so, perhaps there MAY be a new life for Westchester Ave also.
