No, they're not true ALCO trucks. They are MLW 's DOFASCO Trucks.

GE used this and one other one as test units. They still retain the 251, but they have Dash 7 innards. They came from BC Rail.

This loco was lettered as GECX and numbered 5000-I think-, I know that it was part of GENERAL ELECTRIC's GE SUPER 7 series of Locomotives , EXTRA 2200SOUTH magazine did a feature on GE's SUPER 7 Locomotive line.
