This image is most fitting, as 9859 was truly a "Creature of the Night" roaming Atlantic Avenue and nearby environs at all hours of the night, shuffling a few cars here and there. During the day it would sit next to the decrepit shed/shack the served as the Union Freight RR's "office." I've heard "tales" of pedestrians being nearly struck by the "midnight switcher" while stumbling home from the bars that used to be common along Atlantic Avenue.
