Union Pacific's mascot once again returns to Home Base in Omaha, Nebraska this week with the Home Plate Special. Everyone knows #844 is Union Pacific's FEF-3 Northern Class steam locomotive. She is used as a company mascot and a long tradition for me starting with my grandfather back in 1992 when we went to #amesiowa to see her in two tone gray. I love the opportunity to shoot when the Steam Program is running specials. Especially eastbound on her home turf over the Overland Route! Thank you Union Pacific for another stellar performance! Ed you look awesome with that big smile!! I would be also too be at the throttle of this amazing machine!
