It was CP, not NYSW, that was firmly in control by the time this 1993 shot was taken, although some NYSW power still appeared on D&H trains from time to time after the CP acquisition of the D&H in 1991. The NYSW "directed service" of the D&H took place between 1988, when Guilford placed the D&H into bankruptcy, and 1991, when CP took over.
