That's quite a display of smoke and steam. Was there another locomotive on the adjacent tracks helping make all of the smoke and steam?

No, just this one coming out the station a couple of hundred meters back. It was the first train of the day for this loco and it had set off in a cloud of steam with the drain cocks open . Luckily the sun came out and the driver closed the drain cocks just as he passed under the bridge over the 1st carriage in this image resulting in the display of steam seen here around the loco
