Our first grade class took a train trip from Akron's Erie side to Wadsworth in 1950 for a quarter. I clutched that quarter in my hand and never left go of it until we paid our fare. What an exciting time for my first train ride.

Caught the Capitol Limited many a O'Dark Thirty to Chicago - returning the following O'Dark Thirty after a day of hitting all the Chicago passenger terminals and the All Nation Hobby Shop.
