As a 19 year old from Long Island, It was a fun time chasing this from East Binghamton to Hancock, NY. The Susquehanna has been my favorite railroad ever since i was a small child. I left long Island early Saturday and made the voyage upstate in an attempt to see the northern lights late Saturday and after that failed attempt, i stayed with some friends in Ithaca and headed south back to Binghamton the next day. This was my first time seeing the NYSW mainline freight on the move. Most of my shots of NYSW engines are laying over in the yard. I wasn't planning of chasing the SU-100 and i know that it is a popular thing to do, but the moment just carried me from one run by video to the next. I found myself taking back-roads off of route 17 and driving on muddy off-road trails with my jeep in an attempt to get the perfect shot. There were about 4 other guys chasing it as well, (assuming you were one of them) trying to get the best shot of the rare F7 in the consist. I wanted to chase it all the way to Port Jervis but it was getting late for me and I had to get home. It was a fun experience for me and the greatest road trip I've ever taken. A road trip I will defiantly be planing again. (You can see me in the background wearing my red sweatshirt with my camera and tripod set up taking video. My Jeep is poking it's nose out behind the house with the red roof as well)

I couldn't even BEGIN to guess how many times this "F" may have crossed this viaduct in its lifespan. Nice work Marc.

Well, since the caption indicates it's actually an ex-B&LE unit, as opposed to one that was built for the Erie or the Lackawanna, probably never. ;-D
