Pretty much how I remember them- with a gray, filmy dust-coating. They were unbelievably impressive when first delivered, grinding along the Susquehanna River with their Brunswick Green paint job gleaming in the sunshine. The red keystones and unusual "Pennsylvania" lettering on the sides really stood out. A design flaw, in my opinion, was the placement of the horns on the engineer's side of the short hood. When running long-hood forward on windy days, it was sometimes hard to hear the horns' blast, especially if you were standing or sitting in a car on the side of the tracks opposite the horns.

Would've loved to have been more active in the 70's, and 80's - missed these, but thank you, Bob Kise and many others that have preserved such scenes. Assume they are sitting in the now long gone yards just north of the station.
