Very nice machine. I'm surprised the boom lift block and cables are mounted so low. That certainly increases the necessary lifting effort. Really neat!

The boom is resting on the crane tender support gondola, so the boom cables are slack and the yellow blocks are almost resting on top the boom. Many cranes are rigged this way so that it is easier and quicker to lengthen the boom with another straight boom center section and its longer upper cables for longer reaches. Only the upper cable from the yellow blocks to the upper boom side pulleys need to be replaced with a longer cable without fussing with the cable winches.
