Steven - truly a stunning sunset and photo. However, I would like to point out that the sunset is "washed out" from the lighting on the locomotive. It's too bright! Maybe if you had toned down the lighting a bit, and made the subject (the locomotive) a bit darker and not as lit up - this photo would be worthy of a RP "Tri-fecta" (Screener's, Editor's, and People's Choice) of awards. I like what you attempted here, but if you wanted to highlight the "stunning Christmas sunset in the background", then you should have gone with less lighting and toned it down a lot. Maybe you could have shot the locomotive in silhouette and just used a single flash? That would have made this photo "pop" better. Just my opinion and critique as a photo-journalist editor. Still, it's a nice photo...
