Wow! i've been looking for a picture of this unit for a long time. Back in the winter of 1992 I was parked in the old Delaware & Hudson yard in Binghamton, NY. Sitting in my truck with my 4 year old son, Henry, we were watching this geep doing switching in the yard. The engine than stopped by the truck. The conductor came over and questioned what we were doing. After explaining we just watching he invited us to come for a ride. Riding to the Frito Lay plant east of town we grabbed 35 freight car to head west back to the yard. The engineer looked at Henry and asked "do you want to drive the train?". Well, I sat in the engineer’s seat and he sat on my lap and they showed him how operated the geep. All the way back to Binghamton. What a wonderful experience for my son and me. Those Conrail employees created a fantastic memory that day. 28 Years later I'm still enjoying the memory.
