I guess a T-2 in the east is... well, they used to be something special, since none sold there originally (for reasons I don't understand). Enough ended up in shortline and lease service that an ordinary T-2 outside their original region isn't special anymore, but I'd say this one is still special. Interesting details, with the distinctive L&C spark arrestor and no dynamic brakes. That's odd for two reasons. One, no T-2s were built that way, and when I think about it, that makes sense: T-2s were ordered for routes with lots of tunnels, which typically means mountains, and non-dynamic locos were mostly ordered by flatland railroads. Two, that a locomotive built with dynamics had them removed at such a late date.
