Another Railroad gone. I hope this doesn't happen to an abonded railroad near me. You might know it as The Hoosier Line. Yep thats right I live near the Monon line near one of its major stopsw of Salem Indiana. The right of way is still in place and group of volenteers keep the weeds down and track in nice shape and now owend by csx, But you can only access the main line through northfolk southen. there was a wye in newalbany where the monon met southern railways ohio river bridge.
