Looking forward to it! These new special-paint diesels all look amazing - the graphic design team who worked on them really knocked it out of the park. Can hardly wait to see how the new "Pepsi" unit turns out.

Best paint scheme. WOW, 50 years went by pretty fast. Would have been 26 when Amtrak started.

Would have made a lot more sense for AMTK 50 to be a 50th anniversary unit.

What's that odd blue and white passenger consist in the background, beyond the yellow ballast hoppers? It reminds me of the Orient Express.

It's one of the new Avelia Liberty sets that Amtrak has ordered. Once in service it will take the place of existing Acela sets.
