Nice photo and thanks for sharing. It's too bad more rail museums, etc didn't take advantage of the available steam locomotives that were about to be scrapped. 6738 is either an M1a or M1b - you can tell by the absence of exterior steam delivery piping to the valve cylinder (the steam delivery piping was built into the frames of the M1a and M1b). If you look closely at 6751 in the rear, you can see that she has exterior steam delivery piping to her valve cylinder - a class M1.
