That's a great photo Colin. A VIA postcard shot if I ever saw one! :-) I was on VIA #1 The Canadian for that trip from Toronto, ON to Vancouver, BC June 1-5. The dome car first up behind the locomotives is VIA 88703 Banff Park which deadheaded the entire way from T.O. I was 10 cars back of the power in VIA 8325 Elgin Manor sleeping car #113 and recall gliding into Clover Bar that evening, and then sitting idle for quite some time. The standing time allowed for some great photos of the Clover Bar yard power and other equipment.
