The north country is God’s country, especially in the fall! Probably one of the most scenic areas in the country, in my opinion. I grew up in Herkimer County. I did a lot of snowmobiling in the area before moving away in 1979. I never did get to ride the train, but did take some photos at the Thendara station on a visit a few years ago. I bet the ride is amazing, especially at this time of year.

That must have been a proud moment for Doug, to see the fruits of his labors coming back to life after 40-plus years. Thank you, too, for taking this photo and sharing this joyous moment with us!
