CN's acquisition of the WC was a huge blow ot railfans. WC management had been welcoming to rail enthusiasts and excursion operators,and was aggressive in seeking out new business and loose car customers. It all changed with CN's takeover, and I, for one, was bitterly disappointed when WC became a fallen flag.
