Even though this is a train website, the plane has some quite interesting trivia: it is a foreign built version of the North American Aviation F-86 Sabre, the CAC CA-27, but is painted as a North American Aviation built FJ-3 Fury, which can be characterized as a navalized F-86. 'CAC' is for Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation of Australia. If you go there and see it a different angle you can tell it isn't an FJ by its forward frame of the sliding canopy portion being straight, on the FJ-2 and FJ-3 that frame edge dipped down in a shallow curve; being an FJ-1 where the canopy frame was straight is a non-possibility since that one had straight and not swept wings.
