I really like this photo for what I do see and what I don’t see. I do like the composition and your capture of the gloom of a late March day in the eastern United States. The things that don’t see come from your judicious or minimal use of software. In my humble opinion I see an increasing number of photos that have been manipulated to the point where I wish the photographer had heard these words as spoken by a law enforcement officer through a bullhorn: “Put down the sliders and step away from the computer!” If we save only one photo…
