The huge engine ran for decades on her own without the assistance of PTC and now modern technology has just released her to run on her own again. Seems ironic. Nice photo!

Let's hope Union Pacific puts 4014 on tour again. Back in 2021, I think, there were literally hundreds of people following 4014 all along the former Mo Pac main line in central MO--including me! I'll never forget the sights and sounds of big steam like this one.
