Anyone else find this interesting? I just looked up WABTEC and it is Westinghouse Air Brake Technology that merged ha ha bought GE transportation. GE and GM originally put Westinghouse, and Fairbanks Morse out of the locomotive industry, but in the end Westinghouse is back and GE and GM are both gone from the market. Fairbanks OP engines still being built right along side ALCO engines. Maybe it is time for them to re-enter the market with a 4 stroke OP turbo diesel and the circle will be complete.
