A trio of C-Cs - including a Family Lines U30C, L&N SD35 and CN SD40 - heads through Hopkinsville on their way to a rendezvous with a coal train.
Not all of L&N's coal is on the east end. These empties are just north of the Tennessee line as they head back to the mines in west Kentucky for reloading.

With a complicated history, a short life and a quick demise this little outfit ran a poor man's dinner train to boost revenues. The ex-BN unit was never lettered as far as I know.
