2009 was a snowy winter. Due to fresh snow and poor road conditions, chasing this NBEC train was sketchy at best. Roughly 15 miles out of Gordon Yard in Moncton, train 403 heads West.

NBEC 1845 and a second former CP Rail RS18u head south on the Newcastle Subdivision.
NBEC RS-18 1821 climbs up the Irvco Spur towards the Newcastle Sub with 8 gons.
NBEC 1818 and 6905 sit outside of the wheel shop at CN's Homewood shops awaiting disposition. 1818 was later sold for scrap and most likely scrapped on site and the 6905 was sold to the DMVW.
