This train was moving across the bridge at about 25 MPH. The flood gates on Lake Lavon are rarely open. Catching a train on the bridge with the dam and the floodgates open 'took a little work".

The sun was in and out all morning. I was lucky to catch the entire train in sunlight.
The sky was completely overcast just a few miles west of Overton. The clouds started burning off, the closer we got. This train sure looked pretty when it started moving north towards Longview.
8 locomotives, lots of cars ... right place, right time ...
I wonder if and when they'll paint the "Beasts" in KCS colors ...
