In the sunset, the train slowly pulled out of Ulan Bator railway station. The M62 locomotive was running madly and spitting smoke.

Diesellocomotive M62M # 018 of the Mongolian Railway (Mongolyn Tömör Zam, MTZ) in the depot of Ulaanbaatar. From 1980 till 1990 MTZ received 13 single units M62UM and 66 twin units 2M62M.

Withdrawn double diesellocomotive 2M62M # 036 of the Mongolian Railway in the depot area in Ulaanbaatar. The locomotive with about 4000 HP was built by Lugansk in the 1980'.

One of only two DASH7 locomotives of the Mongolian Railway, # 001, built by General Electric type C30-7, in the depot of Ulaanbaatar.
