The 8114 leads the NS 756 past Broadway. The train made 3 tries to climb Starkey Hill but stalled on each attempt, with the crew eventually taking the train back to the South Yard.
NS 756 tops a grueling grade just as it enters the village of Ferrum Virginia. From here the pumpkin vine meanders down through the Blue Ridge foothills on it's way to the next town of Henry.
