The local train switches box cars on the Arvonia Track for a local industry. The crew has split the train because of a highway crossing.
The local train switches some freight cars on Mullite Siding, north od Dillwyn. Today the power for this train is BB 3, a GP-16, and RF&P 101, a GP-7, owned by the Old Dominion Chapter, NRHS.
The morning mist hasn't burn off yet as the crew of Z710 get ready for the day. Our trip will be from Dillwyn to the CSX interchange at Bremo Bluff and then to the yard at Strathmore.
