Rio Grande 3110 leads a Southern Pacific Lines westbound freight up steep Cedar Hill with the obscured shapes of the Book Cliffs in the background.
Grande style street running! From their reactions, I believe a few non-railfan pedestrians actually noted that this lash-up was a bit different from the boring all-yeller normal freight train!
Got a little bit of sun here at CP85th Ave (north of Elmhurst JCT.) and boy does that faded and beat up orange glow!
Four GP40-2's lead the MSJRV north back to Roseville with the DRGW3110 leading, then UP1365 (ex-DRGW3112) facing backwards, UP1372 (ex-DRGW3127) and finally UP1403 (ex-SSW7649).
Unpatched DRGW3110 rests with unpatched SP8553 as a good looking lash-up don't ya think?
