Leaving BNSF's Gateway Sub, this manifest crosses the Keddie Wye as it starts it's trek west on UP's Canyon Sub, beggining it's decent down the Feather River Canyon.
Just trying to get a different angle on a very famous location in the Canyon. Instead of the barns I picked the cattails. A very slow day on the Canyon Sub.

I was lucky to catch the WP heritage-liveried 1983; earlier on that day I also saw the UP centennial 6936 at Portola which was to cross the Wye on July 4th.
