An abnormally long AVR 3 returns to Glenwood with a sizeable cut of "dirty dirt" cars from Washington, PA.

With the Pittsburgh skyline serving as a backdrop, the AVR's Island Avenue Local crosses Norfolk Southern's (ex-PRR) Fort Wayne Bridge over the Allegheny River.

The recession hasn't seem to effect the AVR. The Sunday sections of AVR 1 (AVR Glenwood Yard to NS Island Avenue Yard) features three engines and a massive 49 car train.
