Finally after many lost chances and opportunities, I get my chance to catch NS 8114, the Original NS heritage unit at Hammond leading an empty oil train westbound.
With the Interstate unit trailing on a loaded oil train, it became the first heritage unit to come down the CSX Riverline.
With its return trip it also became the first to lead.
