After a brief station (shack if you will) stop at Hinton, VIA's Canadian is back on the move with a couple of freshly painted Rocky Mountaineer coaches along for the ride.
VIA #1 heads west on a single track portion of the Edson Sub between Dalehurst and Hinton. It was just east of here where the tragic event of VIA #2 and CN Train 413 colliding head on took place.
