Another spectacular sunset with no train

After waiting at Woodford for two northbounds, BNSF 5380 departs the siding headed towards Tehachapi and points further

A different view of the loop. The view from where I am standing is outstanding! You can see most of Woodford, Walong, and Marcel.

A three way meet, and a difficult hike from me reveals a different seen at Caliente.

Curving through and around Chavez'z camp at Keene, CA, the BNSF 4729 leads its ztrain into the north end of Woodford.

Having passed through tunnel #3, and by daylighted tunnel #4, BN 9287 leads this "southbound through Cliff.

At dusk BNSF 4749 passes the signal bridge as two trains are headed out of Bakersfield in the distance

After a derailment at Caliente, this very late z train is the first train to get a green signal, notice the solid warbonnet consist in the distant???

Taken on a very slow train afternoon from high above.....the snakes are out!

UP 3134 leads a baretable train out of the south end of Marcel.
