The track crew had just gotten out of the way when 8897 came into sight. The train is seen under the Ross Peak signal bridge climbing the western slope out of Revelstoke.
After stopping at the Revelstoke yard for a fresh crew, CP 9753 leads its train west crossing over the Columbia River. It makes it out of town just as the sun meets the mountains.
