I photographed this trainset PESA ATR 220 in transit out of service while expecting other subjects. Interesting to me as this train running in five Italian regions, but not in my Emilia-Romagna.

The dusk is falling on the Piave valley, as a couple of railcars climb toward Calalzo, passing a deserted Longarone-Zoldo station and inspiring strange photographic experiments to railfans…

The train is taken in Bologna Centrale railway station, the underground part dedicated to high-speed trains.
