I had driven by this location more than a few times and never considered stopping for a photo until one day I saw it covered in snow.

BNSF 4973 leads a grain train northbound on Main 2 through the butte-lands of Douglas County.

The Pikes Peak Local works north on Main 2 entering Larkspur with a nice GP40/GP60 duo providing the horses.

Another pair of GEVOs hauls another load of coal south, this time seen here ascending the grade through Larkspur.

UP 7241 leads a southbound towards Colorado Springs. One of the DPU's on this train was UP 6720 an ex-CNW operation lifesaver unit.
