HHP-8 hustles southbound Amtrak train through Hook interlocking.

First day of service for Amtrak's new train between Lynchburg, VA and Washington, DC (continuing on the Northeast Corridor beyond Washington).

This Richmond-bound Northeast Direct service is running about 45 minutes late, and sports two HHP-8 locomotives - pans up on both.

Amtrak Train #66 heads north from Fulton towards the AY at ACCA yards and will then continue its long journey to Boston, MA. An old CSX storage yards sits off just to the left side of the train.
